Porcelain Veneers – Straightening & whitening

Porcelain veneers are preferred by many of our patients because they can close spaces, increase length, create maximum whiteness, and straighten teeth. They are also very durable. Deep tetracycline stains can be removed from a smile with this procedure. Veneers can sometimes allow patients to bypass orthodontic treatment. In as short as two visits you can have a smile that beams confidence.

A process called "Instant-Orthodontics" usually incorporates porcelain veneers. Not every smile can be straightened without orthodontic treatment. Schedule a smile analysis to see if you can benefit from this and other procedures.

Dental Implants – Making dentures a thing of the past

According to Dr. Chiappetta, "Implants are the best dentistry has to offer for those who are handicapped by missing teeth." Dental implants remove the need for diet restrictions that can be caused by dentures. In most cases complete functionality can be restored.

Dental implants can dramatically change how you feel about your smile for the rest of your life. Dentures many times weaken your jaw and cause the bone to recede. Dental implants keep your jaw strong and youthful looking. It’s like having your natural smile back.

Now, temporary dental implants help us provide immediate functionality for our patients. The temporary implants give patients a natural looking smile close to the final results, and the ability to eat most foods while the healing phase is completed. It also helps us determine exact fit for a lifetime of comfort and reliability.

Smile Whitening – A healthy looking smile

Enhance your smile very quickly with safe, dentist approved methods. At-home, dentist-approved whitening methods, using trays developed from models of your teeth which fit tighter than off-the-shelf, can also whiten your teeth. You can wear the trays at night or during the day. Our at-home methods can whiten your smile many shades, giving you a beaming, confident smile. Off-the-shelf home bleaching methods can damage your gums and bleach unevenly. Visit Our Technology for further explanation of this treatment.

Bonding – Shaping your smile in one visit

Bonding material fuses to your teeth and creates a strong and durable bond, almost like your natural enamel. Spaces in your smile can be eliminated and your teeth lengthened with this contouring material. It comes in many shades including a shade for those who want a bright white smile.

Bonding is also performed in combination with other procedures. Usually minimal removal of tooth structure is required. In one visit you can have a wonderful new smile.

All-Porcelain Crowns – The natural looking option

Porcelain crowns, also called ceramic crowns, are very attractive for two reasons. First, they provide a perfectly natural look. They mimic natural teeth because of their maximum light translucency and color. Second, they are so close in strength and durability to natural teeth that we expect few people to request metal crowns in the next few years.

Porcelain Inlays/Onlays – The beauty of health

Dark metal fillings can cause an otherwise bright smile to look dingy. Conventional "silver" amalgam material can hide decay and weaken the natural tooth. Metal fillings are inserted (plugged in) after the dentist drills away part of the healthy tooth. Over time, a crown may be needed if the drill takes away too much of the natural tooth structure.

Ceramic-type inlays and onlays are bonded to the tooth, or "fused", with minimal removal of healthy tooth. Bonded inlays and onlays can save more of your natural tooth for many years to come.

Gum Tissue Contouring - An uninhibited smile

Your gum tissue can make your teeth look short. Gum tissue can cover more of your smile than is necessary to protect it. Gum tissue contouring can solve these smile inconsistencies. Contouring can also fill gaps in your gum line, which cause your teeth to look too long. It is also performed during other more complex smile cases where dental implants and bridges are used, or when damage has occurred to the mouth because of an accident.

Dr. Chiappetta uses a radio surgery device to provide a more comfortable and minimally invasive experience. Visit Our Technology for further explanation of this treatment.

All-Porcelain Bridges – A natural looking alternative

The strong, natural-light-translucent materials that Dr. Chiappetta now uses can give you a healthy, long lasting, confident smile. Before all-porcelain bridges were available the only result was a dull or metal tinted smile. Porcelain-fused-to-gold and other metal-based bridges didn’t have the reflective and translucent impact that these new, all-porcelain bridges have.

Ask us how the new porcelain/ceramic dental materials have changed dentistry and can transform your smile.

TMJ Treatment – Relieving jaw joint pain

The Temporal Mandibular Joint, or the point where the upper jaw connects to the lower jaw, can function improperly causing pain, headaches, nausea and dizziness. Your natural tooth structure, worn teeth, old dentistry, natural jaw development and other issues can cause TMJ Syndrome. Dr. Chiappetta believes in absolutely conservative procedures to correct this problem.

If you feel TMJ dysfunction is causing you pain, Dr. Chiappetta can help you determine if this is the cause and how it can best be treated.

Gum Disease & Bad Breath Treatments

We provide periodontal therapy to protect your teeth against gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. Bleeding and sore gums can be early warning signs, but our team can help diagnose this disease and prevent any further complications with regular visits.

Bad breath can also be a chronic problem for many. We can provide you with the latest oral rinses to remove this from your list of concerns. These same oral rinses can also eliminate many of the germs and bacteria that cause other oral diseases and discomforts.

Sedation Dentistry

Sedation dentistry can help take the fear and anxiety out of going to the dentist. Our doctors are specially trained in sedation dentistry techniques that can help you to relax while you receive the dental care that you need and are members of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation

Before starting any treatments, your doctor will review your medical history and explain how Sedation Dentistry can work for you. We want you to feel good about going forward towards a healthy, new smile.

Sedation can be achieved by taking a small pill shortly before your appointment. Once you are dropped off at your appointment, we help you rest comfortably. Although you are conscious during treatment, you are largely unaware of what is happening. Most patients report little or no memory of their appointment afterwards. We constantly monitor your vital signs to ensure your safety. You can rest assured that you are in well-trained, professional hands! Sedation can be used for many general and cosmetic dentistry procedures. If you would like more information about dental sedation, please contact us today!
