The Airbrator - Increased Safety, Comfort, Health, Esthetics

To further enhance your dental experience, Library Park Dental is raising the bar again with the new, air abrasion airbrators. Airbrators are small nozzles that attach to the end of our no-drill,compressed air instrument. There are three separate nozzle designs each suited for specific treatments.

Safer:

Airbrators are self-contained for one procedure. When the procedure is finished, we just throw it away.

More Comfort:

Youll spend less time in the dental chair because Airbrators are more efficient in preparing teeth for bonding, sealants, and esthetic and restorative procedures.

Better Health:

Airbrators increase our ability to conserve your natural tooth structure during decay removal, and also in esthetic and restorative situations.Great Esthetics: Airbrators help Dr. Chiappetta skillfully create an exquisite look because of the increased directional control over the polishing and shaping of esthetic tooth materials. They can remove tooth stains and tooth surface deposits in finer detail and in very targeted areas.

We use air abrasion as much as possible because of its clinical/esthetic results and increased patient comfort. Find out more about the air abrasion/no-drill method in Our Technology.

A Greater, Straighter Smile with Invisalign

We can help you attain a great, straight smile without anyone knowing you are adjusting your teeth.
Invisalign is a nearly invisible way to correct overcrowding, spaces between teeth or teeth that have shifted. Because there is no metal in your mouth causing abrasions, they are a comfortable option.

You wear custom-made, clear, removable aligners, which allow you to eat and drink without restrictions and to floss and brush regularly. You replace the aligner about every two weeks and return to see us about every six weeks. Your teeth will move little by little each week and in about 9 to 15 months you will be enjoying a more confident and straighter smile.

Early Detection Disease - Diagnodent Laser

We are now able to catch decay sooner, making it possible to save more of your tooth. To accomplish this, we employ a new, advanced technology for detecting cavities - The Diagnodent laser.

Previously, we couldn’t repair decay until it could be seen visibly or with X-rays. Now, we are able to find lesions when they are very small and often restore them more comfortably without numbing anesthetic. We shine Diagdnodent's laser light onto one of your healthy teeth to get a baseline reading. Signals are displayed on a screen for us to read.

As we continue to shine the laser around your mouth, it presents us with distinctive digital' indicators' when it comes into contact with a surface that is different from the baseline reading. These indicators show up on the monitor, pointing us to the problem areas. Your exam is easy, quick, precise and painless.

A New Smile Preview Digital Camera

We know that information is vital to making educated decisions. We also understand that knowing what your smile will look like after treatment gives you greater confidence in your choices. For this reason we use a digital camera to record your smile health and transformation.

We take pictures of you and display them on a computer screen so you can see your mouth as we see it. Then we make changes on the screen so you can see the possibilities before you need to decide to proceed with our treatment recommendations. This also enables us to make photo documentation a part of your patient records. The records will be there for both of us to refer to again and again as we proceed with your dental enhancements.

Master Diagnostic Model

In addition to smile imaging, we use a three-dimensional, lifelike smile model so you can visualize the results of your smile enhancements. More importantly, it is also a three-dimensional communication device. The Master Diagnostic Model (MDM ) assures that you, the dental lab and our team fully understand the recommended restorative and /or esthetic treatments.

We create a preliminary model of your mouth and explain the necessary restorations. We then send this model, along with photos and other diagnostic data to the dental lab where they construct an MDM. It will depict how your smile would look after our recommendations have been realized. This 'lifelike preview' makes it easy to understand what your needs are in order to obtain optimum function, beauty and health.

Zooming into a Brighter Smile

We have significantly improved our in-office smile whitening methods. Now you can enjoy a whiter smile in about an hour with a therapy called Zoom! This is a light activated system designed with your comfort and safety in mind.

First we apply a whitening gel to your teeth. Then, after providing you with protective eyewear, we align your mouth with a compact, full-mouth exposure lamp that produces an almost unnoticeable heat. We can achieve a considerable whitening change (a 4 or 5-shade difference) in one sitting. This is whitening that lasts! You can proceed to your next engagement, event or activity with a brighter smile.

A Lifelike Smile Makeover

We now use an extraordinary esthetic material for crafting youthful-looking and resilient front teeth restorations. This is the type of dentistry you should expect in the 21st century.

Dr. Chiappetta completed an extensive hands-on course with Dr. Newton Fahl, a Brazilian dentist who is an internationally renowned speaker and dental clinician. There he learned to make nature-mimicking structural and color enhancements with composite veneers.

You can now have longer lasting rejuvenated smile results with our advanced methods of dental care.
